When using rubber conveyor belts, it should always be considered to protect the use of rubber conveyor belts to make them better for production. The storage and transportation of rubber conveyor belts should pay attention to using the correct method, which can greatly improve the service life of the conveyor belt. At the same time, attention should also be paid to the installation process, providing effective solutions for everyone:
1. The installation length of the rubber conveyor belt is not suitable
Whether it is new belt installation or old belt replacement, if the installation of the entire conveyor belt is not carefully planned and calculated in advance, it is easy to cause the conveyor belt to be lengthened, and the direct consequence is the counterweight (heavy hammer counterweight) hitting the ground, causing the start to skid. Although there was no problem at the time and there was no problem in the test drive, the configuration position was low. After running for two or three months, the counterweight sag and hit the ground when starting. This is because the plastic deformation and elastic deformation of the conveyor belt are not taken into account during the installation process.
The conveyor belt should not be too short when installed, and a certain margin should be reserved for future maintenance. If the length is basically at the small place where the screw is tensioned. After using for a period of time, there is a problem with the joint, and the conveyor belt is not enough to redo the joint, so the new belt has to be reinstalled. This makes our conveyor belt waste in vain. At the same time, the enterprise suffers certain unnecessary losses. This is something we don't want to see in production.
The ideal installation situation of the conveyor belt is that the length of the conveyor belt after installation is moderate (we should take into account the difference in the effect of temperature on the expansion rate of the conveyor belt in summer and winter), so that a margin for a joint can be reserved.
2. The quality of the joint is not good enough
The supervision of the joint gluing of the conveyor belt is an important part of the installation process of the conveyor belt. The quality of the joint directly affects whether the conveyor can operate normally. Belt breakage accidents caused by quality problems of vulcanized joints occur frequently, which not only affect production, but also cause personal injury. The quality of the joint is reflected in the use effect. If the temporary control is not strengthened during the bonding process, it is difficult to see the problem only by the completion acceptance. Therefore, it is important to strictly control the quality of the vulcanized joint during the installation of the conveyor belt.
